If our specialists consider your item/s appropriate for sale at Akiba's, your initial valuation is complimentary. Please note, however, that we are unable to provide valuations for items that fall below our minimum value threshold or into a collecting area typically not offered by Akiba's. All auction estimates are also subject to revision pending firsthand inspection and further research by our specialists.
If you are satisfied with your auction estimate, proposed consignment terms, and proposed sale date, our staff will draft a consignment document for your review, signature, and return. Once we have received your signed agreement, we can proceed with organizing the shipment or drop-off of your item at our offices.
Your specialist will present you with your specific terms of consignment, which may come in the form of a percentage of the hammer price of your consigned item in the event that the item sells at auction.
